Modern Locomotive Illustrated - Class 450

Has anyone seen the release of this magazine yet? Quite a good one for MI enthusiasts I should think.

Claims to have been released on the 20th July, but was not originally scheduled to do so until 31st. As such I havent been able to find it in any stores.

Would be interested to know if it contains plans of the unit, other than just that of seating!

I imagine that the original release of July 31st still stands then, making me wonder why the publisher is claiming its even available 11 days prior!

Yes I have the Aug copy of this magazine and yes it does go into a large amount of detail including the recent alterations that have been made to the 450 stock. If you’re a Desiro Fan then you might be interested in my post on the general discussion board.

Ages ago?? was only summer last year in 2008

The mag doesn't include any other 'diagrams' like side on cross section with measurement views, thought there are side on and front shots.

The seating plan diagram only seems to appear for the 450/5 conversion as well.


What I do like is there's a competition to win a chance to drive the 450 sim!
