Modern(ish) uniform - on the hunt!

Hello everyone!

I am on the hunt for basically any & all railway uniform from the start of privatisation all the way up to the present, preferably stuff that’d fit me too! Please do reach out if you have anything in good condition, and I’ll let you know sizes etc plus if it’s of any use.

I’ll gladly pay fair prices for everything, as I do tend to gain a lot of stuff fairly often and am well-acquainted with costs.

I buy anything from blazers, ties, lanyards, shirts and basically just about anything that would be worn!

I also don’t mind other random bits which could be of interest.

The only reason I do this is for use at heritage railways, as I volunteer and like a bit of variety

I retired from the industry almost 2 years ago and collected an assortment of lanyards, ties, polo shirts never been worn, workwear shirts never been worn, hi-vis jackets a couple never been worn and waist coats same never been worn. the shirts are all large.

Have a look on eBay. Run of the mill railway ties generally go for a few pounds,but collectible or rare ties can go for much more. Here’s a link to the site.

Railway Society's sometimes have bits.

We do have some BR era ties and some Hitachi (believe they are small/medium) bits if that's of interest. I can post them and pictures can be provided.

I'll more than likely pass on the BR stuff, as it wouldn't really be my focus area. I'll get back to you on the hitachi stuff as I do know a fair few people who work for them. Thank you for reaching out though!
