Hi all, quick question, its nothing important but its bugging me anyway so here goes, i went into Southamptons Modelzone Wednesday to see if there Bachmann NSE 03 shunter had arrived yet (it had'nt
) but in the cabnet was a Bachmann NSE 08 shunter, i don't recall it being there a few weeks back when i went in so had a quick nosey at it and thought oh what the hell, and i purchased it! However i got it home and out the box and was very pleased with it, my head scratching started when i looked at the box, on the end of the box it said
CLASS 08 DIESEL SHUNTER 08641
NETWORK SOUTHEAST 'DARTMOOR'
PRODUCED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE SIGNAL BOX
Also when i looked at the sleeve out the box it has the picture of the real loco and says its a limited edition of 512 models and says this one is number 110, so fair enough, im happy, i got an NSE 08 shunter and a limited edition into the bargain........ but my simple question is this, if it was produced exclusively for The Signal Box then how come i managed to purchase it at Modelzone?
There may be a simple answer but any sugestions would be nice.
