Model Rail issue 281 - December 2020.

The layout which featured on the cover of the above brilliantly captures a wintry look. However it doesn’t feature in this issue of the magazine. I recall reading an article in Model Rail about it though.
Does anyone know in which issue it appeared?
I’ve tried the modelshops.co.uk website but the search facility isn’t working for me.

I think the cover photo refers to the "Build a snow scene" article on page 44 of that issue but, frustratingly, it makes no reference to the layout's name! Can you remember if the article was in an earlier issue, or later?

I honestly can’t recall but suspect that it was earlier - I periodically give my magazines to the VCT at Ingrow and had issue 281 but not the one with the layout so assume I’d inadvertently ‘donated’ it previously!
I did once write to Model Rail and got a holding response but nothing further.
Curiously it’s in the current issue as the backdrop to the magazine’s subscription offers!

Okay, I've found that advert - just so we're on the same er... page (!), is it the one with the DMU and the Morris Minor on a wagon?

I've got a Readly subscription that goes back as far as as issue 192, so I'll have a look. It might take some time, though.
