Nope. I had heard that GNER were taking 2 sets from MML, so they could run more services, but this was to be permanent, not a lease.

I'm not aware of GNER having a set on hire. As David mentioned, they have taken 2 extra sets from MML for additional services, these are currently in Doncaster getting GNER colours in readiness for the introduction of the extra KX-Leeds services whch start in May.
I dont uderstand!. Why the hell are gner using A MML set london-edinburgh, i was on it, twice a day! if i have worded something wrong and upset someone sorry, but to me i heard the set was hired (leased from porterbrook im guessing)

Are you sure this isn't the VXC hire on Birmingham - Edinburgh?
As most other people I was only aware of them taking 2 permanantly for refurb before use.

That's 43060. which has been on hire to VXC recently. MML keep changing the set and power cars used due to exams and maintanence.

That photo looks like the one you posted from Monday, which is when 43060 did the Birmingham-Edinburgh VXC service which is normally worked by a MML HST set - it was not on hire to GNER.
Whoever said that is confusing MML hiring a HST out to VXC, with MML returning HSTs to the leasing company so that they can be leased out to GNER instead.
It is good to see MML finally give up their spare HSTs to other TOCs who want to actually use them!
If it were up to them, MML would have got rid of the 'spares' long ago. Porterbrook insisted that they honoured the lease agreement.

MML HST set is 06:05 Derby to Plymouth and 11:50 Plymouth to Newcastle Tuesday to Friday this week to help carry extra toffy nosed stuck up drunks due to the Cheltenham Races.

If so that is bloody annoying! I am on the 10.05 off Leeds to Edinburgh on Thursday which is its usual run! Which means its a bloody Voyager instead.

Irelevant to what you wrote, it did sound as though i was pointing the finger at you merely because i stated you, but it wer someone else, no worries if thats what you wer thinking.
If MML can find the stock to resource this, it will only be 2+5.
Obviously they couldn't find the stock, it was a voyager (gen from the lizard)
It was planned to start today. No idea whether this happened as I'm off.
