Hello everyone,
I've got my MMI and structured interview next wednesday,as a bus driver i think i can give them some examples that suit the role.

I was wondering tho,when they ask you about following rules and procedures,is it related to a specific situation like an emergency or i can just tell them that i follow procedures every day when i check my bus over,do walk around and report any problem to the engineers? Do you think is a valid point to use?

Also when they ask to tell that time u worked alone,what does that mean exactly? I work alone all the time but i couldnt think a way to make this answer fancy enough,what key points of working along should i bring up? I mean nothing special really happen,are they looking for something special while i worked alone or they just want me to list what i usually do? That is a bit tricky

Any help and suggestion would be greatly apprecciated.

There is a separate question about when you've dealt with an emergency so I think it is any rules and procedures. For you it could be what to do when a passenger has no ticket for example.

The question about rules and procedures is every day stuff. What are the rules and procedures you follow every day at work. They don't need everything just give them 1 area. Just make sure you say stuff like you keeping up to date on all rules + procedures and how important rules + procedures are to you as a person.

The working alone should be a easy answer for you being a bus driver. Even if it seems like mundane stuff to you just highlight all the subtle things that are involved when you prepare for working alone. Are you well rested/how do you make sure you are well rested? Are you prepared for your shift/how? How do you keep high levels of concentrations? How to minimise your distraction?

When answering your MMI questions don't presume the interviewer knows the qualitys that go into the examples you are giving. Make sure you say them out loud! They are basically ticking boxes for qualitys and buzz words in a candidate so use those buzz words as much as possible even if you repeat them in every answer.
