Evening pop pickers...
Can anyone tell me about the process for re-taking the MMI after the nine month period has passed?
Is it a case of me contacting the toc, in this case Arriva Northern, or will i be contacted by them or even the Opc?
Been an on hold candidate since 28th June 2016.
Muchos Gracias

I'm a bit confused what your situation is? If you failed the MMI in June 2016, you are not "on-hold", you have failed. You are of course now free to apply again for any new vacancies that are advertised, but there is no guarantee you will be shortlisted.

If you fail the MMI then that's it one of your lives is up and your application won't be taken any further by the TOC. You will need to start again 6months after you failed.

Perhaps we should clarify that "start again" refers to the MMI only. If he passed the assessment, he passed it, he doesn't have to re-sit it.

Yes, though a new application will need to be started from the very beginning.

Could it be you're in the talent pool and you're getting confused with DMI and MMI if you have passed everything. Not sure how long Northern allow you to be in the talent pool before having to retake a DMI.

Hi sorry if i was vague..i am an on hold candidate..i had an email off them saying i had passed the assements and interviews and that the interview is valid for 9 months and the assessments 5 years, i'd had the Dmi 3 months before so judging by the the wording in the email i presume its the MMI have to do again after 9 months?

No mmi is part of the assessment, dmi is the one you'll retake as with northern it's 9 month dmi valid before needing to retake them.

So i have to fill in a whole new application form to do the MMI again?

Yes, though if you passed the other sections of the assessment you won't have to do them all. I'm not sure if you'd have to do the DMI again having passed it once already, but I suspect you would.
