Hi all

In an MMI I responded to the 'emergency' question with a scenario about how I had coped in the aftermath of a car crash.

Now, I explained clearly that the crash wasn't my fault but what I am wondering about is whether this was a great answer considering I was the driver of a vehicle that crashed? Hardly ideal for a train driver!

Thanks in advance for any replies.

From the vague detail you have provided it is hard to tell. I think wait and see if you have passed the MMI and that will tell you all you need to know about whether it was a good enough answer or not.

I wouldn't worry too much.. the MMI focusses more on the way you've dealt with the situation and make the correct choices and decisions following it.

Depending on the person that conducted it, it may actually be seen as a positive because it will show that you were under a large amount of stress..

I don't know a single person who has come out of the MMI feeling confident, this interview is designed to draw a hell of a lot of information out of you in a short period of time and is completely normal to come out feeling drained with a lack of confidence because you literally end up second guessing everything you've said as well as the situation itself.

Hmm I'm not so sure.

I had my MMI earlier this week and walking out I felt quite good. In all honesty I would have been surprised if I had failed it. Thankfully, my instincts were correct and I passed!

It was certainly the weirdest interview I've done but for people who have done research as to the interview content then it shouldn't present too many problems.

Also, STAR, STAR and STAR.
