Mk3 FGW Fag Packet

Hi,
Does anyone know why there looks to be at least two of the ex-FGW 'Fag Packet' liveried Mk3s at Leeming Bar on the Wensleydale?
I haven't had much of a chance to get up there (only 3/4 mile away too!) due to work

Be surprised if these are mk3's; FGW finished (daytime) loco haulage a few years ago using fag packet liveried mk2's, many of which have languished in store ever since (or possibly been scrapped). A few others have found further use with charter operators or been preserved.

Hmm, I'm sure the roofs looked like a Mk3 roof... If there's any daylight when I go to work in the morning I'll try and have a quick glance as I go past!

Thought the only 'fag packet' FGW Mk3s left was the ones used on the sleepers? That's until they're refurbished, which I believe is under way?

47813 and single FGW coach north thru Bletchey 0740 this morning presume en-route Wolverton.

They are probably 2 Mk. 2s used as barriers, which were tagged on to the back of the pair of 47s when 47828 took 47375 to the line last week.

Now I've been able to get a look in daylight(!), they are the mk2s! I had thought the roof was ribbed a la mk3 style, but no, the roof is smooth(ish).
