hey guys

I’m currently in the process of modelling a GNER Mk2 barrier vehicle however I’ve come to a slight snag. The particular vehicle I’m modelling is Mk2 6353 (http://www.departmentals.com/photo/6353) and on the picture shown on the departmental website it shows a row of roof domes.

My question is, are those roof domes straight down the middle or are they slightly offset with another row down the other side of the roof?

So far I’ve not been able to find any ‘roof’ shots of this particular vehicle so I’m struggling slightly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are those just roof vents? Very little work is done to a barrier vehicle (as it doesn't need to carry anything) so what is already there remains there. The vents are in two rows (they are visible on the coupled vehicle in the linked photo).

6353 was a Mk2c FK so there are a single row of vents to one side.

You could use the Lima Mk2b FK as a starting point as its is the same more or less or a Bachmann Mk2a FK if you are not bothered about the doors being wrong.

Thank you for that. I wasn't sure whether there were two rows like the coupled vehicle or whether there was just one row so thank you for helping me clarify that :)

I have the roof vents ready to attach I just didn't know where to place them on the roof so that has helped greatly :)
