MK2 Coaches

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me which tour operator uses the BR MK2 coaches? Having spent most of my childhood on MK3s and MK2 coaches on the WCML, it would be nice to get another trip in on them.
The last tour I booked on was a Pathfinder tour, and that used BR MK1 coaches?

Both Pathfinder and UK Railtours use Riviera's Mk2f coaches - it just depends on whether the tour takes coaches from Eastleigh (Mk1s) or Burton-on-Trent (Mk2fs). You just have to work out where the stock is likely to come from for a given tour.

Retro Railtours and Nenta Railtours use the Riviera Mk2s.

Statesman and Northern Belle tours use their own sets of Mk2s. Saphos tours include a mixed rake of Mk1 and Mk2 coaches.

Other ways of travelling on Mk2s are going to Cardiff for the Rhymney commuter workings or Edinburgh for the Fife Circle commuter workings.

Vintage Trains at Tyseley have the earlier built and NON air Cond. MK 2 coaches, which have the great and popular benefits; in that passengers can actually control their own ventilation by opening the windows themselves if they wish, and thus also have a chance of actually hearing the train's locomotive at work.
