Mk2 Coach Types

Good morning all,

I am looking for some information regarding Mk2 coaches specifically MK2D TSOTs.

I gather that some of them used to carry Intercity livery but I am struggling to find any pictures of them to verify details.

If you have any information or know where I can find it (either in print or on the internet) then I'd be very grateful.

Didn't most of the Mark 2d TSOTs become RMBTs with an extra bay taken?

This is 6660, which was a RMBT converted from a TSOT.

My 1991 Platform 5 Combined Volume lists all the extant Mark 2d TSOTs at that time as wearing Intercity livery: 6600/01, 03-05, 07-09, 13/14, 16-19.

For additional information, prior to this, my Ian Allan 1987 Coaching Stock book lists 6600 and 16 in Intercity livery, and 6601/04/05, 13/14/19 in Scotrail livery.

Five of the TSOTs were converted to RMBTs in 1986: 6652, 60-62/65 being converted from TSOTs 6602, 10-12/15 respectively.

I didn't know that so it would certainly make sense as to why I can't find any pictures of them.
