Has anyone any info on these coaches sent to Switzerland for test with SIG?

I don't remember any coaches going to Switzerland, I can only remember SIG bogies being trialled under 12140 (as well as the early/prototype T4 bogie) and that was all UK testing.

Vehicles 10581/673/705 were exported around 1993/4 and were converted to a tilting test train for SIG's tilting bogie design. The results from this saw this design used for SBB's Class 500 ICN units.

They made an EMU out of the carriages. thats all i can remember

Very short-sighted IMO. Should've at least stuck some Transit engines underneath and made a bi-mode unit! ;)

(Though as Switzerland has very little unelectrified track, perhaps not...)
