Im buying a city day pass that runs out 6am friday morning, my flight back is at 9am, so i will be travellling at 6am to the airport, is my ticket still valid during transit or will i have to stop at 6am and buy a another one?

I am almost certain that a 24 hour ticket will terminate validity at 6am, so you are no longer covered by the ticket from 6am and you'll have to buy another ticket. I could ask for clarification, but I'll have to ask on another forum, which will take time.

Have always used priv's in past so not had problem, but validity is precise so if it expires at 6am then it expires at 6am. Grips on sbahn towards airport are quite common compared to rest of sbahn as they obviously make money from the unsuspecting/unaware so best to get new ticket before hand as penalty fares are expensive - makes uk £20 look like pocket money.
