Seemed to be quite a talking point on this thread a couple of months ago with links to pictures of the halfbridge from which the fake BR standard type loco was to be launched into the Peak District quarry.

Has it happened?

Just seems to have gone very quiet.

Did a bit of Googling around on this and it appears a Covid outbreak has delayed matters.

Despite a police escort, a battered train carriage being used for stunts became wedged under a low railway bridge while on a transporter.

The shunt brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill in Chesterfield, Derbys.

The "launch into the quarry" was done several weeks ago, there are quite a few clips of it on YouTube. AIUI the remains of the "train" have since been removed, presumably including the battered coach featured above.

That's just The Sun making things up again; the carriage did not hit the bridge - and the production company put out a statement several days ago making that clear.

It was in that state because it's the one that followed the replica locomotive on a steep downwards trajectory...

It was a purpose built replica.

No genuine relics were harmed in the making of that film.

From seeing them at close quarters, I would say that the coaches involved were old service stock and not purpose built like the loco.
I don't think that the growing of fungi in the gangway ends would be specified in a new build.
The only possibility for a new build would be the section of coach end used for close up shots mounted on one of the container flats.

A number of online “news sources” still have the article reporting it as a bridge strike, despite commenters beneath explaining the facts, and/or quoting the company’s explanation. Why don’t these stories get taken down if the known facts change?

But the local rag ran the story about 5 days before the nationals, and it was already called out as fake news then:
