Missing Kirkby Line Trains

I waited Yesterday for the 18:47 from Orrell-Manchester on the Kirkby line and it wasnt on the led displays who do we report this to get it fixed? 150226 i think was the unit

Also the 19:17 departure isnt in the Timetable (at the platform) yet shows on the screens.

Orrell is operated by Northern Rail.

As it is within TfGM's area you may wish to report the issue to both NR and TfGM.

Do you mean the trains were cancelled or the information for passengers was incorrect? Your title suggests the former while the text suggests the later.

You may also want to find the rail and tram sub committee of TfGM and locate the nearest councillor to that station on the committee. They have this lovely bit where they ask the train operators what they are playing at with the stations.

the information was wrong on the Manchester bound platforms atleast and the last Wigan bound train was missing from the timetable

Are you sure it wasn't an additional service due to the Christmas shopping footfall. Many Northern services are being strengthened in the run up to Christmas.

I've also experienced the information screens spewing technical jargon at Orrell around the same time at night a few weeks ago and not alerting passengers to the fact that the last train of the night to Kirkby existed or was late. I had to double check on the NRE app.
