Just booked onto LNER's 10.00 Kings Cross to Aberdeen Service on 9 June and noted that coach B was missing from the seating plan - what reason might this be for?!

On Desktop for the 10:00 Kings Cross to Aberdeen (09/06) I see Coach B fine:

LNER is rolling out (yet another) booking interface (identifiable by a new.lner.co.uk/…. URL) which appears to have some major usability and functionality flaws.

It’s difficult, but not impossible, to force it back to the previous, more grown-up version in lieu of the new Fisher-Price style one.

Lol, and they've taken the opportunity to rebrand the snacks menu on the shuttles to a 'special' menu!

(Screenshot of LNER booking portal for a journey from Newcastle to York later today showing first class fares which display the 'special' menu type against shuttle services)

Looks to me like they've taken that back down again. Maybe it wasn't supposed to go live yet. new.lner.co.uk just redirects you back to the normal one.

It's on our site.

A couple of other reasons to consider using our site:
1) LNER sometimes charges a premium for through fares; not on 9th June but it does apply tomorrow. We will attempt to find cheaper combinations of fares, so we will sometimes charge less than LNER charge for the same journey
2) A proportion of the commission goes to the forum
3) our seat selector works for journeys that extend beyond LNER, where applicable
