Does anyone know where 180103 has gone? I cant find it anywhere. Last seen at Newcastle. Saw it through Northallerton and wondered where it was off to.

I am away from work so cant access "the system" - any information greatly accepted.

Has anyone checked if there are loads of unexplained ashes along the line?

As far as I'm aware it went round the ECML taking the same route the GC sets did. 180103 was seen passing through Motherwell sometime in the evening. I'm told it stabled on Polmadie overnight before being moved on to Kilmarnock the following day.

Ok, so probably a silly question...

Does this mean that 180s are cleared for passenger use as far as Edinburgh on the ECML, or is it just an easement for an irregular stock movement?

They are permitted ECS only to allow them to reach works.
