Misleading Next Train displays at Marylebone

Having a bit of time to kill, I noticed the Next Train to" displays under the main departure screens at Marylebone. These alternate between showing the next train to Birmingham (change at Moor St for city centre) and next train to Bicester Village and Oxford. Except when it displays the next train to Oxford, it patently isn't the next train to Oxford. When I was looking at it, there were two previous trains to Oxford shown on the departure boards before the one it claimed was the next train. If you waited a minute or two, it would then step to show the next but one. And after another minute or two, it would finally step to show the actual next train. However, I suspect that by that time, anyone using that screen to find out the next train they could catch would have just assumed that the next train was over an hour away, rather than 10 minutes away.

Why present the information in such a confusing manner? Why not just show the next train? There seems little point in showing trains that don't yet have a platform allocated. And if you really do want to show the next three trains, why display them in reverse order? Why not start with the first train due out, then the second, and so on...

Sounds like someone's turned on the "Multiple Trains" feature in the Customer Information System for some reason.

Have you contacted Chiltern about it, so they can pass it on to the relevant people and get it turned off again?
