Good Morning to everybody!

I hope this forum will not object to me posting a link to the new Miseryrail site. It is still a work in progress but we recently received a collection of electronic files from an unknown source, and we're going through them at present and anything interesting will be posted to the blog.

For the time being, we hope you can find some interesting material on it:

miseryrail.blogspot.com

Kind regards

I agree ME are generally very good. Makes me thankful to have a good urban rail network, even if I don't use it to commute.

But I was unaware that they had removed railcard discounts on the Day Saver. That is bad and out of kilter with the rest of the country.

With the investment and public money that goes into the merseyrail network I dont think anybody really has grounds to complain.

That said, I do feel the daysaver was a bad idea for a number of reasons - most notably revenue protection. It is clear though that the route is set for smartcards and so long term fares and discounts will move to plastic.

While I agree with the blogger that the feet on seats policy should be maintained by staff, publishing an image (including the face) of a member of staff with feet on seats is not the way forwards and if you feel agreived talk to Merseyrail direct.
