Is there a mandated minimum connection time between GLC and GLQ for booking tickets (or should that be "minimum interchange time"?)? I'm pondering a split ticket from Lancaster through Glasgow to Oban, and there's 21 minutes between arrival in GLC and the next departure from GLQ. In practical terms, I've done the walk several times and know it and reckon I can easily do it in about 10 minutes. Google maps says 7 minutes from the front entrance of GLC (by Sainsburys) to the entrance of GLQ (on W George St). My concern is that if there is a delay into GLC and I miss the connection from GLQ and I try to claim Delay Repay for the whole journey on split tickets but it's challenged because there's some mythical figure somewhere that says one should allow N minutes between arriving into GLC and leaving at GLQ and I didn't allow enough.

You just need to show the driver your valid train ticket when you get on board the bus. To be sure of making the connection leave yourself about 30 minutes to get between the two stations.
