Mini Scaat

Hi,

Does anyone roughly now how many lines per sheet I should be aiming to complete to pass the mini scaat?

I'm practicing now and am making too many mistakes but I think I am trying to go to fast. But then im worries I'm not going fast enough..

I've searched the forums but unlike the Group Bourdon test where people say aim for 8-9 lines per sheet (I think) I can't find any advice on the mini scaat.

During my assessment, I competed just over half a page of each test. I must have done alright because I passed... The practice tests are only a small portion of what you would get, but just keep on working from left to right, line by line until your eyes bleed and then you'll be ready!

Was it with letters or symbols? And did you use a mouse or was it with keyboard arrows.

The one I have to do is online at home not at an assessment centre

Letters and equipment whatever you feel comfortable with

Mine was symbols but on paper and with a room of 9 other people...

I've got the mini scaat to do at home this weekend. Will I be alright doing it on a laptop with finger pad or do I need a mouse? Is there somewhere online i practice?

Do whatever you are most comfortable with. No special place online to practice.

I've been using the group bourdon app which has a scaat test on it to practice.

Only thing is with the app it's symbols and I think the test I will be doing online for Southern is with numbers. Also you have to use arrow cursors to go through and click where I'm led to believe the actual one is done with a mouse.

Im a bit slow on the app, I'm hoping I'll be quicker with the mouse....

Hi I've also got mine with GTR to do this week and although I bought an OPC practice test papers, I'd still like to ask if anyone has done it recently and if so was it letters, numbers or symbols, as am finding the symbols trickier to get through. I'm trying to get practice in before attempting the test.
I've a laptop and I bought a mouse just for the occasion as I think it'll be easier to use.

Yeah I've been putting off doing it because I'm trying to practice a bit more and find out more about how the test is conducted. I don't want to screw it up.

My main worry is my speed. I don't know if I'm going too fast or not fast enough. Hard to gauge what pace I need to work at.

It's very easy. Don't overthink it. It's letters and really not that hard.

Do you have idea how many lines I should be looking to complete per page?

I want to be as accurate as I can but then worries I might be to slow and dont want to fail because I'm too slow when I could of pushed it a bit more.

Nobody knows how many are needed. Just don't go too fast and make mistakes sacrificing accuracy. As said don't overthink it as is not hard
