Mind the...Stop?

Seen at North Camp today - a stencil, but a terrible one, that appears to read "Mind the Stop". It would have been better to paint it on by hand! My question - do individual TOCs/contractors not use a standard stencil for this sort of thing?

Yes, it is meant to but doesn't. My point was that it is a very poor effort and I am surprised that the normal stencil, which is hugely clearer, was not used. I was wondering if it is a local initiative or similar.
