Have been checking advance fares for a late Febuary trip to Glasgow from Milton Keynes .At the moment it looks very much as though I will not be going as fares at this time have gone through the roof ,£95 being cheapest,what is going on with advance fares? Last year they were well down on these prices ,I know that increases have taken place but this seems excessive..

Go for the sleeper. You should get a good deal on a berth if you book miles in advance.
