Just calculated mileage from some recent continental track-bashing. So will jump from a meagre 73 to 1141. And still haven't included the 1019 rail miles or so to Sheffield this Thursday - I am currently in a hotel in Nice!

After a rather surprisingly decent bit of mileage (circa 380 of 'em) on Monday, I've now gone up to 644 miles and whatever chains. Not bad for an expenditure of just £48.80 thus far this year, especially when you consider my second day of bashing was in First Class almost all day!

Is there any codes I should be entering on the end as I'm getting an error?
Edit - Found it, needed to enter (Low Level) to get it to work.
Edit 2 - 827 miles from the last weekend adventure around the London Midland network, plus HS1 to Margate.

Now up to a nice round 2100 miles after a few longer distance trips
A few more planned, including potentially some outside the UK, though sadly I have just found out that one of the trips I was to make is bustituted...not just the UK that suffers with that then :P

865 at the moment for me, until I get some figures for Llanbradach to Energlyn & Churchill Park
I'm at 693 for the year so far, which is low for me.
From the end of this month, I'm going to be commuting most days by train for a couple of months - so that will boost my total, and hopefully find a couple of units I'm after as well.

Unfortunately yes, most of it is commuting. I do 92 miles a day so it's inevitable I guess, plus monthly trips up to Manchester from Kent. There are many small leisure trips, I just can't remember the details to include them.
I feel a bit like this. I haven't done any days out in the week at all this year, though I have had the odd trip of 50 or so miles here and there and despite that I've racked up more than 4000 miles! And I don't commute...

Probably going via Waterloo East to Bridge then Cannon was quicker than going via the underground.

That's 46 hours over 164 journeys. Lateness is 636 minutes. Guess the shocking weather down South did not help over the last month!

I've just passed 6500 (.48 to be precise).
I've also amassed -589 minutes of delay. As a crude estimate, for every mile I've travelled I accrue 0.09 minute of delay. Previous years have seen a ballpark of -350 to -500 for delay; meaning I've spent far too long being stuck on trains than I'd have liked to have been!

Not a large addition for me today, just doing the 'Thames' branches between Reading and Paddington.
Although next weekend will be a different story, Euston to Edinburgh (via Birmingham I think) and Edinburgh to Kings Cross

If it's leaving Euston at xx43 then yes it'll be via the Midlands. Do be warned it's both 221s and 390s on those services, and the timetable doesn't make it clear which service is booked for which train.
Big mileage increase due for me tomorrow which I really can't wait for

Well after my trip away last week on a North West Rover I have managed to more than double my mileage so far this year to 4119. But thats hell of a lot less than the 7714 I had amassed at the same stage last year. Next up is a trip to London in a couple of weeks for a few days.

I just hope seat 49 in coach B is decent, I don't mind a non-table seat, as long as I'm not going backwards.
(and also seat 41 in Coach C on the 14:30 service from Edinburgh)

I was looking into making use of the "freedom of Scotland" railcard, sometime in June, maybe 4 days trying to do as much as possible in the land of the scots

Setting off in an hour to add another 186 miles for a weekend in Barnsley for the darts!

Broke 1000 miles currently sitting at 1065 after a trip on the Middlewich freight only line diversions to Crewe last Sunday.

Just under 1002 miles this pass weekend, would have been more if I hadn't missed my train (went fast from Euston to Warington via the Trent Valley instead of going via Birmingham)
