I have yet to update my totals from the last three trips I have done, as my RailMiles subscription has expired and can't renew it until at least Friday. So when that's all sorted I'll post then, but I expect I'm on around 3,500 by now Still about 500 behind target if so, but getting there

Passed 12300 today.

When updating my moves book for this week, I also noticed that my (admittedly, semi regular) train to work was on time last Friday for the first time this year on arrival. No mean feat that! Have also amassed 906 delay minutes (cumulative) this year, my largest total in 7 years and around a third of my total 2772 minutes of delay since I started recording my moves.

I also managed to clear 500 miles in a week on a single unit - the bloody thing kept showing up for my journeys to and from work morning and evening, day in day out.

I'm as up to date as I reckon I'm going to be, there'll be loads of journeys I've forgotten (usually where I've taken the Northern City Line to work for a bit of variety).

I wasn't counting delay minutes, but I've just used £176 of rail vouchers towards my season ticket, and I've already got another £8 from London Midland these last two weeks. Don't book on the same EC train as I do

Managed to sneak 1,500 miles this year. No more this month, but should get another 400 miles in June. All very small fish this year I'm afraid - be lucky to get above 3,000 compared with 8,000 last year.

Whilst we are on, does anyone have mileage data for the Benidorm - Alicante train (individual stations would be good), and the Benidorm - Denia tram (again individual would be good)

Sure, submit it to FGW using the normal process (so copy of ticket used and details of delayed journey) and you should get something back. Though the way it's worked out varies from TOC to TOC. I believe the most common method is to refund the appropriate proportion of the cheapest walk-up ticket that was valid on the train that was delayed. Alternatively they seem to also like to just pluck figures out of the air...

In my expereince... this.

I once got £10.88 in an RTV... and that was for a delay of ~20 mins! (Plus a complaint about some other things on the journey). Incidentally the clerk who accepted it was rather miffed that they are so inconsiderate as to not issue them to the nerest 5p!

Anyway, I've just executed an update to this for the first time in a long time and it's added around 2000 miles remarkably. About 500 came from one day out in London and I'm not all that sure about the rest!

Hmm I think you should have chased that up, they should have sent you a letter saying that they were turning you down, so it's possible the claim got lost.

Just updated things and at the end of May I am on 5796, so well on course and with a FoNE coming up in the next couple of weeks (though due to other commitments, this may be amongst my only June mileage)

The May stuff included a shade over 90 miles on the Metrolink in a day, with just over half coming from T68's 1007 and 1016
