I think it woold be good for next year to Split the cometition into two competions i.e Have one competion for Leisure Jorneys on MAin & branch lines etc and have another for heritage Railway Mileage as withh my self I keep a seprate diary for Heritage Railway mileage not sure about other people.

All just goes onto one big spreadsheet for me; but, as I keep a secondary sheet showing total figures per day, it is not too much hassle to separate commuting and leisure if the competition rules so dictate.

Too much messing around IMO to split up "heritage" and "main line" trips, especially as it gets to be a very grey dividing line when it comes to some of the German and Austrian "heritage" railways.

I agree it would be messy - as 33056 says a lot of people keep one spreadsheet of some form. It's not only in Germany or Austria where there is a grey dividing line - it's even the case here on the NYMR!
