Mileage since 1st January 2010 until 31st December 2010 only. Mileage for leisure or commuting purposes only.

Mileage Calculator
Chains to miles
Milepost data (requires some maths)
Mileage for preserved lines
NET (Nottingham Tram) mileages

Mileage covered on all railways counts towards your total, including heritage lines, foreign mileage, trams, light-rail and LU - providing you can find accurate mileage data! (No, I dont know where you can find this...)

When you want to update your mileage go to: http://www.railforums.co.uk/profile.php?do=editprofile

How can we work out London Underground mileage - surely the link posted doesn't do that?

Is there anywhere we can find out?

Just tried that new field thing, wonder if it works...

Kicking rear ends already I see Jordy :o Wonder if it was on decent traction though? ;)

I know...I wasn't talking about that and had already added it to the first post.

I would suggest you include the original link too, given that for a good part of the past day, the link you have up didn't actually point to the free online mileage calculator, but to a page to buy the product but with no calculator on it - this could happen again I assume?

That field thing hasn't entered my mileage from today, so just to be sure (maybe it'll come up tomorrow, who knows, I'm shattered so don't care) my mileage is 236. There's a bit more on the end there, but shall get that off the PC tomorrow.

For anyone interested, t'was accumulated on:

158767 Trowbridge to Bath Spa
43020+43056 Bath Spa to Didcot Parkway
43094+43168 Didcot Parkway to Newport via Evesham and Hereford <D
43180+43165 Bristol Parkway to Bristol Temple Meads
43144+43088 Bristol Temple Meads to Bath Spa
158958 Bath Spa to Trowbridge.

Have you heard of a technical problem? Good. Because that is why.

Obviously technical problems happen - which is a good reason for keeping the other link as well, in the event of them occurring again. It gives a back-up, even if it isn't as good.

Ahh, that'll be why I couldn't get onto it in the early hours yesterday morning then. Had a feeling it was, so just ended up reading the blog entries instead. Which was an interesting read :)

Jordy: Couldn't think of anything better to call it last night, brain had shutdown and I nearly fell asleep on the keyboard! Hope it's working soon, it'll be a lot easier for everyone, with no or next to no waiting for it to go into the table by the looks of it. :)

The profile field thing is now sort of working. The mileage will be updated approximately daily so keep updating your profiles!

Well, technically I should also be on 30 if you are rounding things up. (29 miles 48 chains is more than 29.5 miles). :P

Just you wait till college is open again, I'll be on 44 miles then!

Stupid question :)

If you fill in the mileage section in your profile, does it add your name to the table if not already on there and update automatically?

Now a whopping 399.6 miles here, which is actually beating what I was at on this day last year! :o But I can't afford to go anywhere now either, grocery shopping is a PITA for wiping out your money!

I still have to manually update it, but its quite a lot quicker! ATM i'm doing it approximately daily, it has just been updated now :)
