Hang on a minute...I didn't realise that we could include international and transit system mileage as well! If that's the case, then I'd better ask for an update!<D

  • 140 miles - Tampere > Helsinki return,
  • 126 miles - Helsinki > Turku return,
  • 275 miles - Cumulative mileage on HVV for February (Seven days),
  • 150 miles - Pisa > La Spezia return,
  • 200 miles - HH-Altona > Itzehoe return,
  • 130 miles - Cumulative mileage on HVV for August (Four days),
  • 30 miles - FNB > SUR return,
  • 66 miles - Cumulative mileage on Oslo Trikken/T-Bane/NSB (Six days and no time for proper bashing),
  • 22 miles, 64 feet, 8 inches- Cumulative mileage on LuL lines between Waterloo and Bank alone!

So totting that all together, I'll update to 4,273 miles, 64 feet and eight inches please!:razz:<D

Travelling in the past few weeks in the Greater Manchester area, on the East Lancs Railway and on the Welsh Marches Line a couple of times adds 722 miles and 77 chains to my total, which is now:

4187 miles and 73 chains.

Probably my busiest year ever on the railways! :D Though when I stop being a student and enter the "real world" I suspect my annual railway mileage is going to drop off (unless I commute on the train of course). Might get up to 4400 by the end of 2008.

My mileage has been raised considerably from my last update, just I really can't be bothered to add it up yet :p

I expect to be well over 15,000 miles before the year ends.

Hail All! <D
Can we add mileage covered in our nightly wanderings (Dreams) as well? If so, then mine - Which includes a lot of high-speed journeys across the Trans-Siberian and the Atlantic circle (Via Greenland and Newfoundland) - Increases to around about 666,000,000 miles and 52 feet, or thereabouts...:D<D

Naturally, I'm only messing about in this post... :-P 8-) ;-)

hmm, odd. Well I'm not re-calculating mileage to take off commuting miles ;) mind you, that takes up about 16, I usually get the bus
