You may have heard that I'v probably lost all my records due to a computer breaking. Sadly, the mileage charts were about the only thing I hadn't backed up(thankfully, all my uni work is backed up, though, and this is rather more important).
Anyway, 3,660 is my new total, although I think I've missed a couple of things out.

Does anybody know the route mileage for the Barrow Hill divert? The speed limit's up to 75mph, and it takes 40 minutes, can't remember how you work it out.
Oh! Is that what I did last night then? We got diverted around Sheffield.

Actually it's Barrow Hill, Beighton Station Junction, Woodhouse, Darnall then Nunnery Mainline Junctionyeah via Barrow Hill, Nunnery Jn, Beighton, Woodhouse and Darnall.
yeah via Barrow Hill, Nunnery Jn, Beighton, Woodhouse and Darnall. if you know where you're looking you can see BH roundhouse from the train, last time I saw a deltic and a whistler sticking out the shed![]()
40?! What trains you travelling on?about 25 minutes, and to rearrange Distance=Speed / Time you do D=SxT which you have to convert 75mph in to metric (always m/s in physics - I'll work it out for you)
worked it out (approximate - obviously the train isn't going 75 all the time, so I've averaged it out to 65.):
Distance = Speed x Time
27.08 miles. Use this to calculate: http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/speed_distance_time_calc.html
