You may have heard that I'v probably lost all my records due to a computer breaking. Sadly, the mileage charts were about the only thing I hadn't backed up :( (thankfully, all my uni work is backed up, though, and this is rather more important).

Anyway, 3,660 is my new total, although I think I've missed a couple of things out.

Sorry to hear that me123 :(

Least you had the important stuff backed up!

Not worked out my mileage lately, but I reckon I'm finally about the 15k mark.

Updated. I'm upto 19,720.

Would just like to thank Jordy again for the new leaderboard format. It's so, so much easier to maintain!

Does anybody know the route mileage for the Barrow Hill divert? The speed limit's up to 75mph, and it takes 40 minutes, can't remember how you work it out.

yeah via Barrow Hill, Nunnery Jn, Beighton, Woodhouse and Darnall. if you know where you're looking you can see BH roundhouse from the train, last time I saw a deltic and a whistler sticking out the shed

40?! What trains you travelling on? about 25 minutes, and to rearrange Distance=Speed / Time you do D=SxT which you have to convert 75mph in to metric (always m/s in physics - I'll work it out for you)

worked it out (approximate - obviously the train isn't going 75 all the time, so I've averaged it out to 65.):

Distance = Speed x Time

27.08 miles. Use this to calculate: http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/speed_distance_time_calc.html

Actually it's Barrow Hill, Beighton Station Junction, Woodhouse, Darnall then Nunnery Mainline Junction :p
[/pedantic] ;)

Brandon, the route around Beighton is shorter than the direct route via Dronfield and Bradway Tunnel and is actually quicker, taking about 5 minutes less than the direct route, despite the speed limit being lower. As it's a freight line I believe it may be 60.

After FINALLY working out my mileage from the first day of Virgin's Liverpool drags this September, my mileage is now 14,339.5

Got lots to still add up, but I thought I might as well add that in for now.

Thanks, but I could of done it if I hadn't forgot D=SxT!!
now 27.08 x 12 = 325, so 1576 + 325 = 1901, and the 7 chains from before.

So...
1901 Miles, 7 Chains please!!

Total for my altogether Mileage is:
3351 Miles, 26 Chains
