aaaah! that explains why you stay up so late! You were probably still up bouncing around when I was up at 0500 this morning, and walking through town by 0625 you'd be great as a train driver on lates! you have to wait 4 years still though...

To this date (26th April) I have covered 1474 miles, and I do 70 miles per week just going to work.
That puts me in 13th place below David but above Class 313.
If I'm included that is! :P

Hahah. Well, a month or so back, I stayed up for the 0638 service from Ash Vale. Did about 228 miles getting home. Walked home from the station. Picked up some stuff. Walked back to the station. Then did another 228 miles back down to Ash Vale and didn't go to bed until 3am!

In addition to this, last friday, I went to sleep at midnight as well, got up 5:30 then endured an hours drive to Oxford. After which, I was standing on a train by a door from 9:40am all the way till 1:35pm to Weymouth, then got a seat while I ate some lunch. After which, I got back to Weymouth station, then was standing around for bout 45 mins, then got onto the train, and stood from about 4:30 till 8:10 by a door again. After which, an hours drive back to Milton Keynes, then go to a mates Birthday party on the other side of MK, then finally get home at 00:30 on sunday, then get woken up by my cat scratching at my door, wanting to get in my room, and this was 5:30am!!!!!!!!

So you are an actual lightweight!

I did a lot of overnighters when I needed coursework handed in this year. Up at 6 one morning, bed at 11-12 the next evening hock: With school in the middle. Although, to be fair, I usually got a half hour sleep in the common room at some point.

Friday 11th April - Sat 12th April:
Woke up at 7am. Went to work for 9am, worked my butt off through til 6pm. Got a lift to the station then got the 18:12 to Reading for the 18:41 to Birmingham New Street. Done a return to Redditch, then up to Erdington to chill with TM & ATN. Then it was up to Blake Street on the the last crosscity northbound for the last southbound fast to New St.
From New Street myself and TM walked to Washwood Heath yard and back, in excess of 6 miles during the dead of night. Upon returning to New St we waited around 2 hours for the East Anglian tour to roll in, then we stayed by the window from 0550 til 1308, walked around lowestoft for an hour and a half then got back on the tour back to Brum. Upon returning to brum I had to wait an extra hour for the vomit back cos the 2033 and 2103 had both been cape'd. The 2133 rolled in and I set off home returning at about 2240. Got the 2318 back to burnham where i walked the mile and a half back home to my bed lol

Oh I am SO up for this.

Mileage for me stands at 5,229.5 miles (rounded up to the nearest .25 of a mile and using the NRT for much of it).

EDIT: I have yet to work it out traction by traction, but a good proportion of that is on, surprise surprise, HSTs.

Next bash isn't until May 9th, so my mileage is staying the same for a while yet! But then I expect to add about 400 miles from that 3-day trip!

EDIT 2: I'll happily show off where each of those miles has been gained from should anyone wish to see. I would have considerably more miles, but I've had to do a lot of rail replacement buses.
