Yes, if you do so wish, dlr, trams and tubes count. I don't count them, but you can if you want.

Oh, also, if you want your mileage updating, it'd be great if you could say what your current mileage is, rather than to add however many miles. As mods have been updating this too, it could get a little confusing. Only one person has done this so far, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Cheeeeers :p

in that case, add 60 miles to mine. I've been the whole length of NET quite a few times in 2008, but not sure of my mileage when not going the whole length, so I'll play it safe.

I'm not going to increase anyone's mileage unless they give me the figures.

Again, if you don't it could cause confusion between me and Jordy and figures would become inaccurate.

EDIT: My mileage is now at 8,313.

I could...

But still, I'm not adding up over 20 people's mileage everytime they go out! Especially when they should know it (and probably do) themselves.

Would you add up everyone's mileage and then constantly update it?

I can be pedantic if I wish. It's not hard for you all to just give me your final figures. Especially after I clearly mentioned.

Seeing as your online, Gizzy, I've got another whopping 20 miles or so under my belt, so could you update it to 1372 please? (Well, when your down at 24/26, every little helps :))

But you didn't have to be so pedantic about it, Gizmogle

You don't have to moan about it.

It is a voluntary 'competition' and one of the organiser's rules is that you must do your own maths. So if you want to be in the competition, you have to abide by the rules.

What is the competition prize, a visit from Gizmogle, or a tour of britain by Pacer?:D

Let's get me somewhere further up the table...Not happy with being 9th!

As of Friday afternoon at 1329, my mileage stood at 5,365.5.

The mileage from Trowbridge to Minehead and back (via Bristol) from yesterday is still to be added up, when I get it worked out.

Please update my mileage to 4263, as I've done at least 5 miles on the Metrolink, in reality i've done alot more, but to keep things as accurate as possible, i'll just call it + 5.

Do they move the office every day then?

No, since the advent of the latest stupid timetable on the WCML there are no direct trains between my station and Harrow & Wealdstone most of the time, so I have to leave earlier and either change at Watford or go into Euston and back out.

The exact route depends on;
1) What shift I am on
2) Who I am relieving ;)
3) What time I get relieved
4) What state the train service is in (quite frequently a mess at the moment)

Hmmm....after speaking to some other members, I've decided that preserved miles don't count. Most of us aren't counting them, and quite a few members would have a huge advantage as they spend alot of time helping out at preserved railways.

Missed out - in fine form. 1000 ex Pickering was a superb thrash

I bet :(

Didnt get into Pickering till gone 1030 though thanks to the stupid damn bus times. Managed to score the Western, both Deltics, the Tractor and the Peak though
