Midland Railway Butterley 1960's Gala

[trainmad]

Hi all,

Its our 1960's weekend at Butterley this coming weekend (17th and 18th.) I know the GCR has their own this weekend, however hopefully both lines having similar events might mean more people will visit both.

However, our gala is to feature:

73129
53809
D212 (40012)
D8001 (20001)
D8048 (20048 )
114 DMU

Both passenger and goods trains will be in operation over the weekend, with a special timetable in operation. We will also be using our Island Platform at Swanwick for proper trains for the first time during this gala.

More information at www.mrbevents.co.uk including the working timetable for the weekend.

Thanks,

Paul

I'll be crew on D212 Aureol on Saturday and fireman on either 73129 or 53809 (most likely 53809) on Sunday.
