Hi all!

Today there have been engineering works on the Midland Metro between Snow Hill and New Street and I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on. I've got a few photos of it so I'll attach them to the post.

Cheers!

I have found these works to be a extremely irritating as I was starting to use the tram to Birmingham New Street at the weekends. However they are quite right in saying that weekends are the quieter time, so it does make sense. Why is this happening did they not build the tracks at a high enough quality the first time. Which as a result means that they are having to go back again. Or is it something else?

Im not sure they had crystal balls to forecast how bad the wear and tear may be on these areas.
