Midland Main Line freight working ID

Would anyone happen to know the details of a southbound Freightliner working that would have passed through St Albans around 18:20 today? Looked to be around 20 tanks.

From the distance, all the yellow around the cabs made me think of a class 70, but it looked more like a 90 – too far away for me to be sure. It was travelling at around 15–20 MPH and all I could hear was the whine of vintage electric motors – no diesel engine noise at all.

Whatever it was I'm pretty sure it wasn't the run-of-the-mill shed :)

70003 working 6L87 Earles to West Thurrock. The tanks were PCA wagons

Interesting … it didn't sound like a diesel (motors but no engine) but come to think of it, it did seem to be a strange shape. It was so yellow that at first I mistook it for a Network Rail loco, and that's what made me think 70 after I realised it was Freightliner (occasionally it would help if I got some new glasses). Thing is, it wasn't on fire …
