Hi all,

There only seem to be two trains per day showing up in the timetable for Middlesbrough after the 20th May. Does anyone know the reason for this, as we're now within the 12 weeks of this date?

One of my friends is trying to buy tickets for the weekend of the 1st June, with very limited success!

Thanks in advance,

Richard

We have a similar problem in Huddersfield too.

All of a sudden the "Open Train Times" and the "Real Time Trains" websites have very limited running information.

A few weeks ago there was pretty much everything there, about the Timetable recast, and the extra services.

Due to the well documented problems in preston Northern and TPE timetable release has been delayed.

Does this mean us Warrington folk are keeping TPE service for a while then...? A man can only hope!

No i believe TPE are going ahead but the timings are not final due to Northern problems.

Then going all the way to december times are only released 4 weeks in advance.

As covered in a previous thread they are currently unable to meet the usual T-12 week booking horizon on all routes. So the info that was in the sites such as OTT and RTT was subject to change. A lot (if not all) of it will still go ahead it just isn't going to be confirmed until much closer. Meaning those that want seat reservations or APs may struggle to get them until much closer to the day of travel than they would be used to.

Dream on ;) - back to 150/156 service for you unfortunately.

The North and south route TPE timetable planned changes will all go ahead, the TPE WCML one will be amended to miss Oxford Rd and Wigan on all trains, plus Penrith on most trains.

I presume you mean passing through without stopping at Oxford Rd? (Does much pass through non-stop currently?)
Obviously one can miss-out Wigan by using another route.

Offspring going from Huddersfield to Batley really could do with knowing weather it's a Northern, or a TPX.

Well that will defeat the object then.

May as well get on at Piccadilly.

Even slower service therefore.

Hopefully it should be in the planners by the 7th April according to National rail enquiries

I thought you said the times will be the same.

What timetable did you use to come to that conclusion please?
This link: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/sea...18/05/21/0200-0159?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt

That's a list of all departures from Manchester Oxford Road, calling at Huddersfield, on the 21st May (the first Monday of the new timetable). I'll grant you, we have yet to have these services confirmed, but that is the best that's available at present.

Taking the first five departures that day, journey times from Oxford Rd to Huddersfield are 33, 35, 35, 35, and 37 minutes respectively. These journey times are all the same or quicker as services between those two stations on the previous Monday, the 14th.
