Wymondham Abbey station is about 15 - 20 mins walk from the NR station in a north westerly direction. AFAIK there's an information map just outside the station - or if you go through the town centre, just follow the signs for the Abbey and you can't go wrong.

Or you could simply follow the crowds as they get off the train. (By law of averages there'll be other people heading for the gala who do know the way).

I don't think they issue privs apart from members' discounts.

Turn left out of the station, follow Cemetery Lane right up to where it meets the B1172 (London Road), then head down White Horse Street, turn left when you get to the river, and follow the footpath, keep walking that way, past the grounds of the abbey, then you'll reach Becketswell Road, where theres a level crossing, cross it, and then your at the MNR. Walk should take about 15 minutes.
