Michigan Central: an album by Joe Braun
Just thought I'd share this amazing photoset that turned up on StumbleUpon. Michigan Central is a huge, imposing station building on the scale of New York Grand Central, but has lain derelict for the last twenty-odd years (replaced by a very modest two-platform setup down the road).
Detroit's well known for having a high concentration of derelict buildings. The city itself has lost about 60% of its population in the last half century.
