After a long running saga regarding mice being seen in the train crew messrooms and other locations round about, the Paddington messrooms were shut today for a deep clean. Alternative arrangements were made to use the late Queen Victoria's waiting room that is more often utilised as part of the 1st class lounge on platform 1. Very nice it was too with leather chairs and a coffee machine. Hope the mice outstay their welcome.
