MFA Stage Procedure

Just a question for anyone who may understand the MFA Sickness procedure better than myself.

If someone is put on a stage 1 if when they get into the last month of this stage (52 week period) they went sick again and returned once the stage one is over and triggered again another interview would the manager be able to put you on a stage 2 as the sickness started during the stage one but the sickness ended after the stage one expired?

I was told it would goto the start of your sickness so it's possible to be put on a stage 2

I know the manager has discretion but I'm just interested on the policy of it as I believe it's the same on all TOCS

The 52 week period would be taken from whenever the Stage 1 meeting is held. So my understanding is, if you were sick within that period, then yes it would/could be counted as a trigger, even if you returned after 52 weeks; the event started within the 52 weeks.

As you say, a manager always has discretion but would depend entirely on the individual circumstances.
