Evening all,

I might be heading down to Mevagissey soon and have found that a rail ticket is available to here from St Austell

Can anyone with a First Great Western network timetable please tell me the stated operator and route number for this bus link?

Thanks in advance,
tango602

First 24 goes at xx45
Western greyhound 524 goes at xx30
Western greyhound 525 goes at xx00

FGW travel planner uses a bus at xx36 from St Austell which doesn't exist, and xx00 for the examples I've looked at.

So great, only valid on a route that doesn't exist!

Guessing it is the 524/525 you'll be taking then

It was withdrawn November 2013, so only 14 months to update validity! FGW website still shows the connections for the times of the 526 when it last ran!

Sorry to have to bring this one back up but I contacted Western Greyhound today and according to them this fare no longer exists although the First Great Western site shows the fare and a tweet sent to them did not discredit the existence of the fare.

Can anyone advise what I should do as I am planning to make the journey next week

Thanks,

I suspect I saw the tweet and the response was any bus which was incorrect information.

Good to hear Western Greyhound have started responding to customers/ answering their phones.

First, Western Greyhound and Travel Cornwall all operate between St Austell and Mevagissey, although Travel Cornwall I don't believe use the bus station.
Travel Cornwall is also less frequent -3 or 4 journeys a day.

The timings issued by FGW do not exist by any of these operators.

The fare shows as set by FGW - the route number it shows valid on hasn't existed for about 2 years.
