Metronet 66722 on FGW stock move

Photo of Metronet liveried 66722 powering a short 5Z91 Derby to Laira through a gloomy Norton Fitzwarren now @ http://www.jonathangill.fpic.co.uk/p48577045.html. The working consisted of 2 barrier vehicles & just TGS no. 44059 in between.

Blimey, was this taken at dusk? Would have been a nice shot if it wasn't for the noise. Noise is better than a blurred train in my opinion though.

Blimey, it was dark byt the time it was at Taunton! I saw it at Cheltenham Spa, pic coming shortly.
Nice photo though, good achievement considering the conditions!

Blimey, your photo came out really well Ali. Better than mine, which came out blurry because I wanted to do a video as well. The second shot (of the back of the train) came out blur-free. Grr...:mad::mad::mad:

EDIT: Here's my photos of 5Z91. If you zoom in much, you'll really notice the blur. It's OK as it is, but not worthy of sending into RI as planned. Anyway, here are the two photos of it:

I had the sensible idea to film it too, got some wicked two-tone as well. When I get the time to (probably Monday now), I'll upload it.

Blimey, what settings were you using for that?

The shot was taken on my Fuji Finepix S9600, set on ISO 400 with an exposure of 1/400 sec @ f3.8.

The FP 9600 clearly suffers noise problems of a similar magnitude to the 9500 which I use; absolutely useless for this sort of shot. Hope the sun is shining next time!
