Something else you don't seem to see at Leeds any more are people handing out samples of the latest food and/or drink products which also used to be quite a regular thing!

[DfT]It's because nobody is travelling![/DfT]

Budgets have been slashed for a lot of marketing budgets, so I expect some companies would sooner just pay a few influencers to be seen eating/drinking the product and everyone will buy that way. Take the success of Prime as an example..

Years ago, you could expect some sort of freebie (even ice creams on hot days) a few times a month if you commuted regularly.

The metro stand has also been removed from Bletchley. I haven’t been to Milton Keynes Central lately,so not sure if you can still get one there.

In the round, this is the answer what is the question. The answer was the time Usain Bolt ran the Olympic 100m. Hugh Dennis said the question was how long do you have to walk round Central London, before someone offers you a free newspaper.

Quite a few copies available in the rack on my Stagecoach bus in Guildford today. It's the first time I've used the bus for a few weeks so I don't know whether that's normal or not.

I use Stagecoach buses my way a fair bit (Littlehampton, Rustington, Worthing, Arundel routes etc) they haven’t been available now for a couple of months with even the bins removed in the luggage storage areas.

Those used to be much more common before the 2008 crash. We had a few afterwards but they've died off completely after the pandemic.
