It was thus so as it was originally a replacement property constructed for the estates offices of the Adlington Hall estate and was deemed to be thus so in the deeds of the property, in order to retain the image of the property it replaced that was lost to fire in 1809.

I have sent a PM to you regarding this (and two other matters) about the history of the building that was there before the 1809 fire.

The water levels around Crowngate bus station in Worcester city centre have dropped a good bit and the city bridge has been re-opened partially to traffic much to the relief of us bus drivers.

First have still banned us drivers from turning rght when we leave the bus station if we are carrying passengers due to some contaminated water on the ground. I do suppose those people who left the cars in the car park near the river will be back soon to acess the damage to their vehicles.

Now we can pray the weather calms down so that river levels have a chance to drop.

There's contaminated water probably in a lot of locations to be honest; The Butts in Worcester has a fair bit on it and I don't expect to clear any time soon.
