Hi all, couldn't find a similar topic so apologies if my search skills failed me! Wondered if we could collect a bit of a list of station and infrastructure alterations made over the Merseyrail network in readiness for the 777 introduction.

* Central being closed 6-9 Nov 2022 seems to be for extending the blocks, presuming this means shifting signals slightly, as well as alterations to the reverse siding to accomodate the longer 8-car 777 formations.
* I've noticed the new 4-car stop boards at stations. These are generally in the same place as the 3-car stop markers, however I noticed one strange thing at Walton in that on the platform in the down direction had a "S" marker, but now has a 4-car marker further down the platform than the S marker. Is this just a general reshuffle of the stopping points?
* Similarly, at Maghull North in the down direction there was an S marker, which now also has a 4-car marker on the same post - can I assume there will be an additional 8-car marker added slightly further down the platform, allowing for the "first door" being further back in the first car?

I'm sure many more have happened over the last two years, so I'd love to hear any other that people know of :)
