Hello, spending a couple of days in Liverpool with my train mad lad, he wants to see the new Merseyrail trains but we drew a blank yesterday, does anyone know if they are in service & if do are they on a specific route? Many thanks.

They are 777s. Not in service yet - try passing Kirkdale depot on the line to Ormskirk or Kirkby.

Merseyrail Class 777 introduction updates

I'm hoping to catch this going through Nuneaton later. Any idea what side the 'paintwork' is on? The left side is CLEAR in the direction of travel. On current schedule it should be at Nuneaton at about 20:50.

Many thanks, we are off to have a look at Anfield/Goodison today so will checkout Kirkdale depot.
