Does anyone know of a mercury arc rectifier still supplying current to a working railway or tramway? UK or abroad.
Please say if preserved railway or not.

A rummage around the internet has resulted in the following hyperlink:


It appears that an arc rectifier was powering a tram line at Auckland's Museum of Transport and Technology as of 2021, at least.
