Does anyone know the times and routes they are allocated on, thanks in advance.

Is there anything specific you are looking for? Generally they are for destinations on the MML, SWML (Weymouth), Portsmouth Line and WCML and not on Sundays.

It's a very limited service on some of the routes, eg

At present Glasgow to Birmingham is available for £3 or £5 on the 8am departure Monday to Thursday only from 19 January to 5 February but there are no return trips on any dates.

Carlisle to Preston and back at decent times is readily available for £1 per journey but again only Monday to Thursday.

Bristol to Waterloo you can do for 5 pounds or so on the infrequent service via Salisbury

There are 3 megatrain services Birmingham to London, Monday to Thursday only, from 19 January, all departing between 11.30am and 1.00pm and four back including one at 9pm. There's at least one £1 ticket on each service and the next fare is only £3.

Just search via the megabus .com website and choose train rather than bus.

To expand on extendedpaul's point: if you do a general search for London to Birmingham on the Megabus website, the coaches are shown with a yellow logo and the trains are shown with a red Virgin logo (see attached image).

Also the destinations are Hill Street for coaches and New Street Station for trains

The trains are cheaper than the coaches at the moment!

Bristol to Waterloo you can do for 5 pounds or so on the infrequent service via Salisbury

Currently available on Fri 6 Feb for £1 in both directions but only one ticket per train at that price and then jumps to £10 so £11 is the cheapest for two passengers. The £5 fares seem to have been removed.
