Updated my site with a few new collections containing photos taken over the weekend and bank holiday just gone.

On Saturday, I went Past Time Rail's 'The Dorset Coast Express' Railtour from London Victoria to Swanage & return, the first time in over 40 years that a steam hauled passenger train has gone from London direct to Swanage. Traction was 34067 Tangmere on the outward leg and WCR's 37706 on the return. On the Swanage Railway, 34070 Manston and a pair of DMUs were operating service trains while 34028 Eddystone was on display. 33103 was also in action, working the railtour ECS into Swanage ready for the return to London.

On Sunday and Monday, I went to the Kent & East Sussex Railway for their "The Last Train's Gone" Gala, featuring A1X 'Terriers' Nos. 3, 662 (visiting from Bressingham Steam Museum) and 32678 (making it's debut after a 2-year overhaul), P class No. 753, O1 class No. 65 (visiting from the Bluebell Railway), USA tank No. 65, class 33 No. 33052, Ford BTH Bo-Bo diesel No. 40 and class 03 No. D2023.

Updated my site with a photo of 73201 departing St Leonards Depot earlier this morning. It has lost it's SWT livery in favour of BR Blue, it has regained 'Broadlands' nameplates and crests and should be appearing at the Eastleigh 100 event this weekend & Bank Holiday.

Cheers Mark!

Indeed, it was a pity the Split-box beast wasn't leading.

Updated my site with 46 shots from the Eastleigh Works Centenary Open Weekend. Photos include a line-up of Bulleid Pacifics, 50135 in Loadhaul livery and several other line-ups.

I also took some photos on Eastleigh station and the bridges north and south of the station. Photos include 35028 Clan Line, 37602/069 and 47760 on three railtours, 66005/043/081 and a couple of units. In the shots of 66005 and the DRS 37s, you'll just see a derailed intermodal wagon to the right!
