Hello, I have booked a trip to go to Wales from 18-22 May and would like to ask a few questions regarding it.
1) Firstly, as I really enjoy getting to know and meet new people in life, is there anyone on this forum that works for the Transport for Wales company throughout the network? Like a station customer service assistant, dispatcher, conductor or even a train driver. Because talking to a lot of people around the railway society is something that I would like to do much more on my future journeys especially outside of my hometown in London.
2) As I’m on a mission at some point in my life to be able to visit every single railway station in the whole of the UK, I would like to go to at least 50 stations in Wales throughout the entire trip, but only in the southern part of Wales, as Swansea is where I’ll be staying overnight during the trip. For example, if I wanted to explore all branch lines within the Cardiff and Valleys zone in one day, then where would be the best place to start from and end at?
